Responsible Land Use

GCAC members C.R.O.P.S. and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have worked with many others to develop the Fisherman’s Park community garden. The Inlet CDC has provided much support to continue to improve this location for the community. This space is now used for the C.R.O.P.S. annual summer farmers market, the 48 Blocks Art event, and other community events.

This area was transformed from an underutilized recreational space to an optimized community asset.

Fisherman’s Park is the perfect place to unwind, smell the native flowers, and look out into the ocean.
